EnviroControl Systems was honored to join the Dayton Metro Library in creating a state-of-the-art library for the Trotwood, Ohio, community.
From the earliest days of the project, the Dayton Metro Library supported a safe, healthy, and energy-efficient building for its patrons. EnviroControl Systems submitted an indoor air quality plan to provide both a safe work environment during construction, and to control construction residue which could bother patrons during visits once the library opened.
Challenges in the project included Aaon RTUs with water coils requiring water piping, 14 VAV boxes, and installation of both exposed, and hidden double-wall spiral ductwork.
Re-opening on March 14, 2020, the Trotwood Branch Library is recognized for art technology, ample community meeting spaces, and locally inspired art installations.
